HONORING A LIFE OF FAITH, FAMILY & COMPETITION
A community-driven infrastructure Redi-Rock® wall project designed to enhance safety and durability for future generations of athletes.
On the grounds of Abingdon Little League’s Ray Petty Memorial Field, a transformation has taken place. King Company was entrusted with the reconstruction of the field wall, a critical piece of infrastructure that ensures player safety and field integrity. Utilizing high-grade precast concrete and engineering precision, our team built a structure capable of withstanding the elements and the rigors of competitive play.
This wall is dedicated in loving memory of Kenny King, or "Pap" as his grandkids called him. He was a Christian, a devoted husband, loving father and gradnfather, and a fierce competitor. His love for the game, and any sort of competition, was unrivaled by all who had the privilege of competing against him. He displayed the sportsmanship of true athlete. His example was measured by two steadfast virtues of "never", never boast and never quit. There is no other place Pap would rather be than on the ball field watching his family compete in the games he loved. Go Cardinals!
