Redi-Rock is a large precast concrete retaining wall system designed to provide structural performance while replicating the appearance of natural stone. It is ideal for residential, commercial, municipal, and transportation projects.

Redi-Rock blocks are much larger than standard landscape blocks, allowing for faster installation, greater structural capacity, and the ability to build taller walls.

Redi-Rock blocks are machine-set, allowing a standard crew of 2-3 people to install up to 700+ square feet of wall per day. Because each block is significantly larger than traditional retaining wall blocks, installation is often much 5x faster, significantly reducing labor time and project schedules.

Redi-Rock walls can be built over 60 feet (18.3 meters) tall, depending on the wall type and soil conditions. 
 

Specific height limits by wall type include:

  • Gravity Walls: Up to 18 feet (5.4 m) tall using standard blocks, and up to 21 feet (6.4 m) using XL Hollow Core blocks, without relying on geogrid reinforcement.

  • Positive Connection (PC) Walls: Over 50 feet (15 m) tall by combining the massive block weight with geogrid reinforcement.

  • Freestanding Walls: Up to 7.5 feet (2.3 m) tall without additional support.

Most retaining walls over 4 feet require engineering and may require permits depending on local regulations. Our team can assist contractors and engineers with project information and design resources.

Professional contractors with the appropriate equipment typically install Redi-Rock systems. Due to the size and weight of the blocks (often over one ton each), it's generally not considered a DIY project for homeowners as it requires heavy equipment.

Redi-Rock is manufactured from high-strength precast concrete designed for decades of performance with minimal maintenance. Built from 4000+ PSI wet-cast concrete, they resist freeze-thaw cycles and UV degradation. If you choose to stain the wall, we recommend periodic inspections to assess if a refresh is needed due to natural weathering.

Yes, Redi-Rock is specifically designed for challenging terrain and steep grade changes common throughout our area. 

Yes, Redi-Rock is engineered to perform in the freeze-thaw conditions, exposure to de-icing chemicals, and both freshwater and saltwater submerged conditions.  

Redi-Rock walls are virtually maintenance-free. Built from 4000+ PSI wet-cast concrete, they resist freeze-thaw cycles and UV degradation. If you choose to stain the wall, we recommend periodic inspections to assess if a refresh is needed due to natural weathering. 

Yes. Proper drainage is an important part of every retaining wall installation. Drainage systems help relieve hydrostatic pressure and improve long-term performance.
